What does a new boiler actually cost?
It is the first thing everybody asks, and any firm quoting you a figure before seeing the house is guessing.
What moves the price is the size of boiler your house needs, whether you are staying with the same type or converting to a combi, whether the boiler is moving, and what state the existing pipework and flue are in.
So we come out, look at it, and give you one fixed written price. Not an estimate that grows on the day. The visit is free and there is nothing to sign.
What we can tell you now: a straight swap is our most common job, our servicing and certificate prices are published, and we will always say if a repair makes more sense than a replacement.

Between a straight swap and a full conversion there is a big range, so we will not pretend a number on a website means anything. What we will do is come out for free and give you a fixed written price before you commit to anything.
A straight swap is usually a day. Moving the boiler, or converting a system to a combi, takes two to four. You will know which before we start.
In a lot of houses, yes. It depends on how many bathrooms you have and what the incoming water pressure is like. We will check both and tell you straight if it is not a good idea.
Yes, and we dispose of it properly. That is in the price.
Up to ten years on the boiler, because we are accredited with the manufacturers. Two years on our own workmanship on top of that.
Not at the moment. We would rather tell you that than send you round the houses.
